Saturday Morning Life Drawing & Painting Long Pose

10.00am – 1.00pm

We have a life model in a single pose for three hours. Usually the same pose is repeated the following week so that you can give six hours to your work, remember to book the same position for both weeks.

The session is not formally tutored although all of our sessions are run by artists and advice is always available, just ask – otherwise you will be left to get on by yourself.

Our studio is purpose built and well equipped with easels, drawing boards, clips and so on. We sell materials at reasonable prices so if you forget anything we should be able to help you out. We have professional lighting for the models and and full spectrum lights for the studio to give you a good experience. We break for 5 minutes for the model every 25 minutes and then for twenty minutes at 11.30 to have a cup of coffee and a biscuit (small charge).

Cost: £15 – £25 for a single three hour session.

Our studio layout

You can book the orange positions which will give you the exact spot shown or an unallocated space which you choose when you arrive at the studio (there will also be some seated spots available at the front). You can also just turn up at the studio on spec and find a place to paint, also £20.
